I am a PhD Candidate in Communication Arts (Film) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison with an MA in Film and Media Studies from Washington University in St. Louis.
My teaching and research examine how moving images can shape thoughtful, ethical engagement with ourselves and our communities, from local to global.
Specific areas of interest include documentary studies, philosophy of film, American film history, and media representations of war and violence.
